Jonathan Veira is an internationally acclaimed bass baritone opera singer, performing with various companies including Glyndebourne, The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and The Royal Danish Opera Company. His performances in operatic comedy roles have thrilled audiences at home and abroad but JV sings much more than opera alone. This singer with a range as big as his heart and character has performed across the globe to great reviews both in opera and in his own one-man show.

In An Audience With Jonathan Veira, he gives an insight into this 'ordinary guy' whose talent is underpinned by an integrity and faith that he is happy to share with all. With no small measure of skill added that endears him to audiences of young and old alike, An Audience with JV is not a performance, it's an evening with a friend!

Pilgrim .... Now Available!

There has been a lot of eager anticipation but you need wait no longer as Jonathan's brand new CD, Pilgrim, is now in the shops. Everyone concerned with the album is very excited about how it has turned out: here is what ICC have to say about it:

ICC Say:

Possibly the most powerful voice in Christian music returns in March with a stunning new album, Pilgrim. Jonathan mixes his inspirational vocal with blues and jazz on a collection of crossover songs, including Wonderful World (Louis Armstrong), I Want Jesus To Walk With Me (Eric Bibb), Gotta Serve Somebody (Bob Dylan), Simple Pleasures (Bryn Haworth), Have I Told You Lately (Van Morrison) and The Faithful One (Chris Eaton), this is as fresh, engaging and creative a musical experience as you will find this year.

With guests including Bryn Haworth and Ben Castle (Sting, Jamie Cullum), a band featuring Phil Crabbe (Aztec Camera), Mark Edwards (Paul Weller, Carleen Anderson) and producer Neil Costello (Gloria Gaynor, James Taylor Quartet), Pilgrim features superb musicianship - the players obviously had a lot of fun making it and will be a landmark album in Jonathan’s already distinguished career.
